Burleigh Waters Osteopathy is located at Christine Corner in Burleigh Waters within the Chiro & Co Clinic. We are looking to assist locals in the surrounding areas of Burleigh Waters, Varsity Lakes, Miami, Mermaid Beach, Mermaid Waters, Clear Island Waters and Robina.

The core beliefs for this clinic involve treating and managing more than just symptoms.  Our practitioners carry out appropriate testing to establish the correct diagnosis before beginning treatment. The treatment is then targeted towards the primary injury area and the regions connected to that.  Without the correct diagnosis, the practitioner will be just treating symptoms and the patient will only get short-term results. 

Treatment can involve a combination of soft tissue massage, stretching, joint movement, joint adjustment (ie. Cracking) and dry needling. Not all of these treatments will be applicable for each patient and the treatment plan will be discussed between practitioner and patient. 

As well as the in-clinic treatment, this practice believes very strongly in the importance of movement once the patient’s appointment has ended.  This can involve rehab exercises, stretches or simple mobility exercises.  These are often paramount to the patient’s overall   recovery.   

If relevant imaging scans (i.e. Xray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, etc) are required, our Osteopaths are able to refer to the relevant imaging clinics in your area and are also able to assess these reports and explain the results to you in layman’s terms. 

Our Osteopaths have completed a Masters Degree in Osteopathy (MAOA) and are registered with the health regulatory board (AHPRA) and the Australian Osteopathy Association (OA).
